When
go to an interview we try to wear a suit or other formal clothes, because, as
we all know, our dress code says a lot about us. Interviewers believe that a
candidate's clothes are really important because they say a lot about him. You
have to be very careful with what you are going to wear in the big day in order
to create the best impression.
Usually
people wear suits when they have to go to interviews, but are Business suits the best choice?
For
example, what men should know is the fact that it is better to be overdressed
than under-dressed, meaning that, for example, it is better to have a tie
because you can always take it off if you want.
There
are some rules that men should respect when they choose the clothes they are
going to wear when they go to an interview:
Ø They should always
wear a dark suit - the best colors are grey and navy blue.
Ø They should always
wear a long-sleeved shirt! Something else that they should always remember is
to wear plain shirts! Employers do not like patterned shirts at
all...especially those with flowers...
Ø They should always
wear plain silk ties! Do not go with a tie with animals or cartoons on it!
Maybe your interviewers enjoy watching cartoons...but they do not want to see
them on their future employees!
These
are just a few rules that men should respect when they go for an interview in
order to make a great impression!
